Five discussion groups are meeting, each once a month to discuss what really matters: No Agenda Clubs in Turku (since 2003), Helsinki (since 2010) and Jyväskylä (since 2010), Leadership&ICT Forum in Turku (since 2005), and Health Forum in Turku (since 2010). They have in common a curiosity to open dialogue. This blog combines their findings. Turku, Helsinki and Jyväskylä are cities in Finland.

No Agenda Club Turku 4.11.2011

On a dark autumn morning we stepped into light by sharing a breakfast and good dialogue together.

This time we played with pictures - we chose a picture that described our feelings at the moment, and then gave a word (or two) to go together with the picture.

Let's see... we have LOVE and a picture of holding hands, this needs no explanations. THE BALL IS IN MY CORNER and a picture of a man sleeping with a soccer ball is quite interesting as well; someone feels it's time to be active. TIME with three pictures: a lady wrestling with a crocodile, then spending some time alone, and then a dog relaxing; perhaps someone is reflecting on her relation to time.

ENGINE FOR THE FUTURE and children in a car's engine room; some trust and hope put on the next generation. COMMUNICATION and a big brother giving advice how to play this game - perhaps only one-sided communication, does the little sister get a change to find her own way of playing?

BALANCE and two boys showing their muscles, one is smiling and the other one is serious; perhaps this is about finding balance between struggling and effortless flowing?

EMERGING and a newborn baby being weighed; the future is being born by us - by our thoughts, emotions, dialogue, and actions. A smiley and a picture of a bicycle race and people having a picnic; others are racing, but our No Agenda Club has stopped to enjoy this moment.

PRESENCE and two pigs making contact; we can learn presence skills from animals, and the nature. TRANSFORMATION and a school class, all the other children are busy playing their part as pupils, but one boy is looking up and reflecting... who am I, and what is my purpose?

I feel we took a long learning journey this morning, thank you!
